Consumption: It is determined according to the engine oil consumption and the oil consumption percentage of the fuel-consuming machine. The engine oil consumption is almost unchanged before a certain working period, and it increases significantly after this period. It is generally considered that when the oil consumption accounts for the fuel consumption When the amount is 4%, the piston ring should be replaced, such as Dongfanghong-54 tractor, every 1500 hours of operation, the oil consumption exceeds 15 kg, and the exhaust pipe emits blue smoke, the piston ring should be replaced.

Filling: When the decompression and cranking engine is outside the crankcase ventilation hole, you can hear the "hissing, hissing" air leakage sound of the piston ring. In order to verify whether the above phenomenon is true, you can add an appropriate amount of oil to the inlet port, and then get rid of the crankcase. When the crankshaft is turned, the air leakage sound disappears or is significantly reduced, indicating that the piston opening clearance and side clearance are seriously worn and need to be replaced with new parts.
